Tailor made Configuration of the PMS-RACKSYS and PMS-ARCON Systems

Configuration of the Project Tree
The network Configurator PMS-System Configurator makes it easy for you to setup the project tree of your distributed systems. By for example interactively adding a new node in the context menu, you in the same time have setup a new project in the PMS Universal Programming Studio. A mouse click on one of the nodes will open the IO configurator of the selected PMS-RACKSYS or PMS ARCON hardware. By the IO configurator you then easily can configure the selected unit. A digital input you can setup as a digital On/Off function, as PWM function or as AB or as ABC decoder. All timings of the PWM and AB/ABC funktionen you can initiate and surely also modify at runtime.

With the PMS ARCON Configurator you tailor made can configure all requirements for your ARCON and RACKSYS ECUs. This configurator enables you to fully make use of all features of the ARCON and RACKSYS controllers.

Configurierung of the ARCOND ECUs
Each of the 12 digital inputs and each of the 12 digital outputs can be configured as followed:

• Digital port
• PWM port
• Clock port
• 2 Ports as a AB encoder
• 3 Ports as a ABC encoder

Your settings in the Systeme Configurator are also configuring the realtime operating system PMS StandOS. All signals can at runtime be modified by the application software.

Configurierung of the ARCONA ECUs
Each of the 12 analog inputs and outputs features up to 12V voltages with a precision of 12 Bit.
The analog inputs of ARCONA can be configured as followed:

• Fast convertion time
• Slow convertion time but filtering out disturbances
• Alarm when a max value is exceeded
• Alarm when a min value is undercut

ARCONA offers the following analog outputs:

• 8 analog outputs with 10 bit precision
• 4 programable loads

PMS StandOS offers different signale, by which at runtime the pulse timing can be modified:

• Rectangle signals
• Variable triangle signals
• Sinus signals
• Customer specific signals

Configurierung of the ARCONE ECUs
The ARCON Configurator enables you to configure the communication interfaces of the ARCON and RACKSYS systems and all firewalls and Passwort accesses.
 
The interfaces of the H-Bus
The H-Bus from the Phoenix Contact cases offers very good possibilities to extend your system, simply by interconnecting the ARCON controllers on the rail track. On the H-Bus you can easily interconnect as many  ARCONE, ARCOND and ARCONA ECUs as you want. Der H-Bus features: A CAN Bus, a LIN bus, six Synch lines and a alarm line.
