The PMS Flow Chart Editor

The PMS Flow Chart editor FC2 offers the graphical programming of measurement and control applications in the popular flow chart. To supply the user with more possibilities than only the if-then-else and functions, FC2 also offers the programming with switch-case constructs and while and for loops. FC2 offers the big advantage of a target independent programming. The target hardware can be a PC/IPCs, an embedded controller equiped by the StandOS operating system, the industrial PLC PMS-ARCON or the 19" rack system PMS-RACKSYS.

The flow chart programm can in the FC2 editor be online debugged, visualised and controled. The communication between PC and controller is implemented via the diagnose interface. When you start the flow chart software, does the embedded software run in the target in realtime. And when the software hits on a breakpoint, the binary program will stop exactly on that breakpoint. A futher strong feature of the FC2 editor is the cycle step. At each cycle step a complete cycle step will run with all input and output drivers.

FC2 automatically creates a C, C++ or C# source code, each time you save your flow chart program. With PMS Universal Programming Studio you can build and download and then run your program on the target  hardware. The target hardware can be another remote PC or a remote industrial controller.

The flow chart diagram program can be visualized and controlled online and in real time via LAN, WAN, CAN and LIN or be simulated on the PC. The target software can be debugged and single stepped in the target hardware and all process data can be read and written in the watch window. Flow charts can be called by all PMS Universal Programming Studio graphical editors.
