Realtime Controller

Three ARCON controllers are available:
ARCONE for the interface between the lead and the control levels
ARCOND for realtime digital meassurement and control applications
ARCONA for realtime analog meassurement and control applications

The ARCON controllers can be connected together by the H bus to create unlimited big meassurement and control systems.

ARCON-E - Advanced Realtime Controller Ethernet

The PMS-ARCONE controller offers with its Ethernet interface the ARCON system the communication between the control and field level. The primary tasks of ARCONE are the creation of a firewall and the control of access rights for the ARCON system.

With 32 bit access codes is the access to all ARCON controllers under a save control. Hacker accesses are blocked by professional algorithmens and ARCONE is in cases of a severe emergency completely blocking the Ethernet interface.

ARCON-D - Advanced Realtime Controller Digital

The PMS Programmable Logic Controller ARCOND features on a standard rail very fast industrial control with response times within microseconds. ARCOND has an up-to-date 32 bit high end ARM Cortex microcontroller with 1 MByte Flash and 32 kByte RAM and with very powerful functional safety features. Control applications can either be compiled binary code and/or IEC-61131- statement list interpreter code. ARCOND has a professional PLC housing with screw connectors.

ARCON-A - Advanced Realtime Controller Analog

The PMS controller ARCONA features very fast industrial analog control with response times within microseconds. It offers 16 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs to the ARCON System. Up to 32 ARCONA and ARCOND controller can be connected to the ARCON Hbus. The size of memory for control application is up to 500 kBytes. Control applications can either run compiled binary code or IEC-61131- statement list interpreter code or a mix of them.

Almost unlimited digital and analog IOs are available by connecting more ARCON controllers to the H bus. All digital and analog inputs and outputs can easily be configured by the PMS SystemConfigurator. The IOs can be configured by the user in many ways so that they exactly meet the customers requirements.
