The relay card PMS-RACKSYS-ConnectionTester can for testing purposes make connection tests for 8 digital or analog IOs.
Technical Data of the PMS-RACKSYS-ConnectionTester Card
* The conncection to be tested is connected to the 25 pole SUBD connector of the PMS-RACKSYS-ConnectionTester. Between the 8 input and the respective 8 outputs can via the backplane bus with CAN or Bitbus messages the following actions be set:
- The analog and digital signals are led through
- Broken wire
- Short to IO-VCC
- Short to IO-Ground
The IO-VCC voltages and IO-Ground voltages are orignating from the 25 pole SUBD connector. In this way individual short cut voltages can be applied for specific tests.
* The relays on the PMS-RACKSYS-ConnectionTester board can switch the following voltages and currents:
- Maximum switching voltages: 125 VAC and 60 VDC
- Maximum constant current: 2 A
- Maximum switching current: 1 A
* On the 25 pole SUBD connector at the frontside the interface module PMS-IO-INTERFACE-25 can be plugged. All connections then can be accessed on its bolted connectors and comfortably can be connected to a cable harness.
* For the communication via the backward plane the following interfaces are available:
- A very fast realtime CAN bus with UDS protocol
- The PMS-Bitbus for UART and RS485 and with UDS-Protokoll
- Up to 8 synchronisation signals and 2 alarm signals
* The PMS-StandOS operating system is included in the price of the card. Its selfdiagnosis always runs in the background and it constantly supervises all parts of the own cards as well as all the connected electrical system. The following self diagnoses are implemented:
- Supervision of the internally used 5V and 3,3V voltages
- The On-Board ARM Cortex M4 and the ARM Cortex M0 microcontrollers constantly supervises each other via an UART interface.
- Supervision of all Flash and RAM memory
- Supervision of all CAN, Bitbus, Ethernet and USB interfaces by lifebeat monitoring and by supervision of internel registers
- More than 80 self tests. All errors are stored a AutoSAR- conform DTC error memory data bank (DTC = Diagnostic Trouble Code)
- In case of severe errors the alarm line is activated.
* The PMS-RACKSYS-ConnectionTester is supplied from a power supply voltage between 7V und 35V from the backplane. A typical supply voltage is 12V. All further needed voltages are generated internally.
* Standard Debug-Connectors for Keil and Segger development tools.
* Reset input for test purposes.
