The PMS-RACKSYS-DacBoard offers 24 analog outputs, which are connected to a 37 pole SUBD connector of the front side. The control of the analog outputs is done via the CAN bus or the PMS-Bitbus on the backplane.
Technical Data of the PMS-RACKSYS-DacBoard
* PMS-RACKSYS-DacBoard offers 22 10-bit analog outputs and additional two very fast 12-bit analog outputs. The maximal possible analog voltage depends of the driver voltage on the SUBD connector. PMS-RACKSYS-DacBoard is optimated for a driver voltage of 12V. The PMS-RACKSYS-DacBoard offers protection against excessive high and low voltages and against spikes.
* On the 37 pole SUBD connector at the frontside the interface module PMS-IO-INTERFACE-37 can be plugged. All analog voltages can then be accessed on its bolted connectors and then comfortably be connected to a cable harness.
* For the communication via the backplane the following interfaces are available:
- A very fast realtime CAN bus with UDS protocol
- The PMS-Bitbus for UART and RS485 and with UDS-Protokoll
- Up to 8 synchronisation signals and 2 alarm signals
* An ARM Cortex M0 Watchdog is doing the supervision of the ARM Cortex M4 main controller. The M4 and M0 controllers monitor each other and both can in the case of an error activate the wired-or-alarm signal on the backplane.
* The PMS-StandOS operating system is included in the price of the card. Its selfdiagnosis always runs in the background and it constantly supervises all parts of the own cards as well as all the connected electric. The following self diagnoses are implemented:
- The intern used 5V and 3,3V voltages
- The On-Board ARM Cortex M4 and the ARM Cortex M0 microcontrollers constantly supervieses each other via an UART interface.
- All Flash and RAM memory
- All CAN, Bitbus, Ethernet and USB interfaces by lifebeat monitoring.
- Further more than 80 selftests, in the order of DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes). All errors are stored in the AutoSAR- conform DTC error memory.
- In case of severe errors the alarm line is activated.
* The PMS-RACKSYS-ConnectionTester only needs a power supply between 7V und 35V. The supply voltage should normaly be 12V. All further needed voltages are generated internally.
* The PMS-RACKSYS-DacBoard only requires a 5V power supply on the backplane. All further voltages are generated on board.
* Standard Debug-Connectors for Keil and Segger development tools.
* Reset input for test purposes.
